There are over 1.4 billion people in India, representing hundreds of ethnic groups, languages, and cultures. While the Gospel has reached parts of India, millions still live and die without ever hearing the true message of Jesus, holding a Bible, or meeting a follower of Christ.

Yet God has promised that a day is coming when:

“The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his resting place will be glorious. In that day the Lord will reach out his hand to reclaim his people from Assyria (Turkey), from Egypt, from Cush (Somalia & Ethiopia), from Elam (Iran), from Babylonia (Iraq), from Hamath (Syria), and from the coastlands of the sea (the farthest reaches of the earth).”
